Hands-on training for e-Fast in a Trauma/ Critical ill Surgical Patient

The seamless collaboration between the Society of Surgeons and FJMU in organizing the stellar EFAST Scan Workshop reflects their dedication to advancing medical education, patient care, and the practical application of skills. Meticulously planned, the event provided a vital platform for residents in general surgery, allied health, and anaesthesia to acquire crucial skills in extended focused assessment with Sonography. The esteemed Vice Chancellor, FJMU, Lahore, Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal (Tamgha-i-Imtiaz and Presidential Pride of Performance), graced the occasion as Chief Guest.Prof. Kamran Khalid Khawaja, Pro-Vice Chancellor/ Chairperson Surgery Department, Prof. Bilquis Shabbir, Chairperson Medicine/ Dean Nursing/ Director QEC, Prof. Liaqat Ali, faculty members, and postgraduate residents attended the workshop. The well-structured workshops, led by experienced instructors, created an engaging and collaborative learning environment, featuring presentations and demonstrations with real patients exhibiting positive findings in trauma cases. Attendees, including senior faculty, residents, and house surgeons from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Sheikh Zaid Hospital, and Jinnah Hospital, gained practical insights and hands-on experience, strengthening their diagnostic abilities. This successful collaboration stands as a testament to the commitment of both organizations to elevate medical training and enhance the capabilities of future healthcare professionals.
