The Board of Advanced Studies and Research shall consist of:

1. (a)Vice Chancellor (chairperson);
2. (b)all the Deans;
3. (c)Controller of Examinations:
4. (d)one University Professor from each faculty to be nominated by the Syndicate;
5. (e)one member to be nominated by the Vice Chancellor:
6. (f)three members from the relevant field, research organizations or the Government
7. to be nominated by the Syndicate;
8. (g)three professors other than Deans to be nominated by the Syndicate; and
9. (h)Registrar (Secretary).

(2)The term of office of the members of the Board of Advanced Studies and Research, other than ex-officio members, shall be three years.

(3) The quorum for a meeting of the Board of Advanced Studies and Research shall be one-third of the total number of members.
