Introduction of the Department
The Department of Pharmacology has a distinguished history and track record for training outstanding students. This department is a part of Pre-Clinical Sciences division of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore, which makes an integral link between Basic Medical & Clinical Sciences. The department provides solid understanding of Basic Pharmacology & Therapeutics which prepares students with up-to-date knowledge of the subject. Emphasis is to prepare students for life time learning and problem solving skills through clinical presentation, assignments and tutorial discussions.
Vision of Pharmacology Department
To provide a solid understanding of Basic Pharmacology & Therapeutics and prepare students with core up-to-dated knowledge of the subject.
Mission of Pharmacology Department
To provide outstanding knowledge of pre clinical and clinical aspects of Pharmacology to medical and paramedical students, also equip the postgraduates with all the competencies of Pharmacology with a prime focus on research related to rational medication use, patient care and safety through efficient faculty with proficient administrative and teaching skills
