MEMBERS OF US CONSULATE VISITED FATIMA JINNAH MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

An onsite workshop held at Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU) in collaboration with Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) brought together students and professionals from diverse fields to explore interdisciplinary learning.
The US Consulate members, Mr. Sandeep Paul (Public Relations Officer) and Mr. Tanveer Abbas (Programme Manager Specialist), were the prestigious guests of the event, along with Mr. Nauman Zaffar (Director LCE) and Miss Minahil Zia (Learning and Development Program Lead at LCE).
The event was graced by the presence of Worthy Vice Chancellor, FJMU Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal (Tamga-e-Imtiaz & Presidential Pride of Performance).

Dr. Taskeen Zahra took the opportunity to highlight the role of the Business Incubation Centre (BIC) at FJMU and shared insights into various initiatives led by both students and faculty in the field of business and entrepreneurship. Her presentation emphasized the innovative projects emerging from the university, aimed at fostering a culture of business and healthcare collaboration.
This workshop was a part of Project Tabeer led by LUMS, which was meant to conduct capacity-building training for BIC teams in university-based incubators across Punjab.
There was an interactive session between participants and the esteemed guests, and at the end there was a problem-solving session aimed at addressing current challenges in the medical field. This collaborative event highlighted the importance of bridging the gap between healthcare and management, equipping attendees with the knowledge and tools to drive impactful change in their respective areas.
YES Club Executive Positions were also announced. Incubatees also showcased their products and took the opportunity to discuss their approaches.
The meeting ended with the words of the Vice Chancellor, FJMU, Prof. Khalid Masud Gondal, on collaborations and networks and how FJMU and LUMS can mutually benefit together.
